Hunts We Offer

All of our hunts are 1-on-1 for 10 days at a time to give you the best experience possible. Given this type of booking, our reservations fill up quickly. Book now to reserve your personal hunt from our limited availability.

We offer hunts in Northern and Western Alaska. When hunting with Bogg Outfitters, you are not just a customer to us but a friend. Our hunts are like good ol’ boy trips, we like what we do and we want to enjoy our time and experience with you. Opportunities to harvest additional species such as wolves are available on all of our hunts in both Northern and Western Alaska. Additional harvests are charged a trophy fee only if the harvest is in addition to the primary species being hunted. We allow for hunt photographers and/or observers at a charge of $300 dollars a day. Gear restrictions will be imposed on observers if the hunt will require aircraft transportation.

Moose

September 5 - September 25

The moose that we commonly harvest are in the 60” range with large fronts and palmated brow tines. This short hunting season does coincide with the rut and there are opportunities to harvest additional game animals such as a wolf, grizzly, or caribou. Additional harvests are charged a trophy fee only if they are harvested in addition to the primary species being hunted.

Sheep

August 10 - September 20

Every guide working for Bogg Outfitters has an infinite love of sheep hunting so you can trust that you are in good hands. Our fully-guided sheep hunts are rugged hunts and very physically demanding. Despite the fact that we access our sheep hunting area by small aircraft, one should still expect a significant amount of walking and/or hiking. That’s right, your still hunting sheep and sheep country is humbling. 

While we do harvest 40’’ rams, the average ram taken in our area is 34-38” inches unless broomed. We do not aim to harvest age-legal rams. We focus our efforts and hunt hard with the intention to harvest full curl rams or rugged double broomers.

Caribou

We hunt barren-ground caribou using a backpack/ spike-camp approach. This demanding hunt takes place in mountainous terrain with rewarding views and landscapes. It’s essential to note that this is a draw hunt, and interested hunters must enter the draw between November 1st and December 15th in the year preceding their desired hunting year.

Grizzly

Grizzly bear hunting in Interior Alaska is an exciting experience! We offer two distinct options: a spike-camp style hunt or a boat-based hunt, depending on the chosen hunting region. In both cases, access to the hunting area is facilitated by small aircraft.
